The winger Was presented with the team's clearest opportunity before halftime, his effort excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. With a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side yet his deliveries from the touchline varied in quality. Substituted with 15 to go. 6
The captain The decisive figure with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes at international level. The first a classic close-range tap-in while the second a classy headed goal after peeling away off his defender. Aged 32, he continues to improve and England stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. Eight
